Gonzo skier John Egan starred in ten Warren Miller skiing films, but he really took a risk when he opened this restaurant on Route 100. In a 1970s-style motel dining room decorated with skiing memorabilia (including a bar made of ski sections signed by skiing luminaries), the restaurant serves a small but above-average pub menu that the chef often pulls off with unexpected flair: Menu options could include rack of lamb, goulash, paella, or steaks in a garlicky wine sauce. Wood-grilled pizzas are popular, too.
