This place offers good food, decent service, and no frills. A local favorite since 1970 for its well-worn, neighborly feel, this is the kind of spot where you can plop down in a pine booth, help yourself to the salad bar while awaiting your main course, and cheer on the Red Sox on the tube over the bar. The menu offers usual pub fare, such as burgers, fries, Reubens, roast-beef sandwiches, meal-size salads, and pork chops with applesauce.
