With a cozy location in a 1958 sugarhouse, this is a popular spot not far from the slopes. The menu is creative and increasingly cooked with a French accent -- it's getting to be less and less "eclectic comfort food" and more in the fine-dining vein. Starters could include steamed mussels, a simple salad of tomato and Vermont goat cheese, or escargots baked with roasted garlic. For main courses, look for such items as a roasted rack of lamb, crispy duck confit leg, grilled filet mignon with cabernet sauce, diver scallops in a lemon-caper sauce, and grilled swordfish.
