Mix together a sophisticated design eye, an obsession with luxury materials, and a large dose of playfulness, and you might just come up with one of the wonderful furniture items produced by Trevor Dykman. Using his trademark shagreen (the skin of the sand shark, in wonderful colors), mirror, leather, chrome, fur, lacquer, walnut-wenge, and maple-veneer, he consistently produces the kind of object that sets an entire room apart.
