If you're even remotely interested in under- or above-water sports, this trio of shops -- each owned by the same entrepreneur and within the same shopping center -- has virtually everything you'd need to play on or below the surface of the sea. The largest and most impressive of the stores is Divers World Ltd. of Cayman (tel. 345/949-8128), with what's probably the Caribbean's largest collection of diving and snorkeling equipment. Expect an impressive inventory of underwater digital cameras, film, watches, scuba-tank regulators, swim masks and swim fins, wetsuits, weight belts, lighting devices, and scooters that propel scuba enthusiasts either above or beneath the surface of the water. If you're in the market for sports clothes, bathing suits, gift items, protective wading shoes, sunglasses, suntan oil, candles shaped like shells, or rash guards (a Lycra or latex shirt that protects you from being stung or scraped by a coral reef), head for The Beach Boutique (tel. 345/949-8128), immediately next door.
