A multimillion-dollar makeover has made this spot one of the premier places to shop in South Florida. With more than 2.3 million square feet of space, this airy, Mediterranean-style mall has a 24-screen movie theater and more than 250 stores, including megastores JCPenney, Nordstrom, Macy's, Bloomingdale's, and Sears. The mall offers moderate to high-priced merchandise and is extremely popular with families. A large indoor playground, Rainbow Valley Playground, is a great spot for kids, and the mall frequently offers activities and entertainment for children. There are numerous theme restaurants and a food court that eschews the usual suspects in favor of local operations.
